The Town of Taos Community Events, merchants, and local businesses are excited to be hosting an on-line COVID-Themed Mask Decorating Contest for children ages 3 to 12, teens, families, and pets. The mask can be a disposable or cloth mask. The contest is designed for everyone to have fun and be creative. The first 170 children and teens registered will receive a treat bag provided by Sun Loans Company. You will be notified to pick up your bag if you are among the first 170. Prizes will be awarded to the child, teen, family or pet with the Best COVID-themed Mask. If you would like to participate, click on the link called 'click here for contest registration' (see to the right of this page). Mask submissions will be accepted through Sunday, January 3, 2021. Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Taos, New Mexico, will hold Regular Meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. Workshop Meetings will be held on Mondays preceding each Regular Meeting at 4:00 p.m. with the exception of days when the Town of Taos is closed due to a holiday or other scheduled closure. The meetings will take place at the Town Council Chambers located at 120 Civic Plaza Drive, Taos, New Mexico.
