EARLY VOTING
Beginning on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Early Voting will begin at Town Hall, Conference Room No. 109, 400 Camino de la Placita, Taos, New Mexico and end on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The hours of operation shall be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday). The office is closed on February 17, 2020, in observance of Presidents Day. Saturday, February 29, 2020, hours of operations shall be from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
ABSENTEE VOTING
The first day to issue Absentee Ballots is Tuesday, February 4, 2020. A mailed ballot shall be requested not later than February 27, 2020. The last day the Office of the Town Clerk shall mail absentee ballots is Friday, February 28, 2020. Completed official mailing envelopes (with absentee ballots inside) shall be accepted until 7:00 PM on Election Day, March 3, 2020.
As a reminder, two Councilmember positions are on the ballot for a four-year term commencing on April 1, 2020.

Dates to remember for the upcoming Municipal Officer Election:
February 4, 2020 – Absentee/Early Voting begins at Town Hall;
February 28, 2020 – Last day absentee ballots will be mail;
February 29, 2020 (Saturday) – Last day for early voting from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; and
March 3, 2020 – ELECTION DAY at Town Hall
