Recycling Collection Resumes in Taos

We are currently collecting recyclables at the Los Cordovas Transfer Station at 184 Los Cordovas Rd. Operating hours are 8am to 4pm, Tuesday thru Saturday. The recycle collection center is open to all Taos County and Town of Taos residents.

We're accepting the following materials for recycling:
  • Corrugated cardboard
  • Mixed-paper
  • Shredded office paper
  • Aluminum cans
  • Tin cans
  • White goods (washers, dryer ,etc.)
  • All rechargeable batteries (lithium, lead acid , nickel-cadmium, and lithium ion)

All loads must be tarped or properly secured. Cardboard boxes must be broken down and all plastic and Styrofoam removed, tin and aluminum cans must be separated, we also ask that everyone recycling check in with attendant he will direct you to proper bins.
